Australian NBA star Andrew Bogut is coming home, joining the Sydney Kings to play in the NBL for the 2018-19 season.
The Kings announced the signing via social media on Sunday night, with full details to come in a press release at 10am AEST on Monday morning.
It’s massive news for the Kings who have now assembled what is bordering on the most talented roster in the league in a bid to return to finals.
Bogut will join a side that already boasts the talent of former NBL MVPs Kevin Lisch (2012, 2016) and Jerome Randle (2017).
Bogut was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the first pick of the 2005 NBA draft, the first Australian in NBA history to be taken at pick one.
He won an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors in 2015.
