The form of these two sides could not be more diametrically opposed as we enter week six of the AFL competition.

North Melbourne have become the early season success story, while those who felt Port Adelaide where somewhere near the top when it came to premiership favouritism might be re-evaluting already.

North are rolling with two straight wins, their stars shining and still plenty of room for improvement. Brad Scott has worked wonders with a team that many thought would be making up the numbers this season; with eyes perhaps at best on a spot towards the bottom of the eight.

Port Adelaide come off two losses after looking the goods early in the season. A great win against the Swans was followed by an unconvincing one against the Lions and poor losses to Essendon and Geelong. Their form line is tough to read.

Prediction
The fast surface at Etihad suits North down to the ground. They generally play well there and with a real chance to gain early season momentum, this is a wonderful opportunity to continue their run.

Look for Port Adelaide to try and wrestle back some confidence and take the game on physically. Form tells me that North Melbourne will be too strong in a tight contest.

North Melbourne by 3 goals.
