The Melbourne Storm are the big winners ahead of Round 12, with three stars set to be back in the fold after their loss last week. There are plenty of players out though, so join The Roar for all the analysis, news and team lists from 3:30pm (AEST).

With State of Origin just around the corner and teams set to be announced after this weekend, Round 12 shapes as the final opportunity for players to push their selection case.

One man not worrying about his place in a State of Origin team is Cameron Smith. Alongside Sam Kasiano, he returns from suspension for the Storm this week, while Jesse Bromwich is also likely to be back for the trip to Townsville. Curtis Scott, of course, will be missing after deciding to make Dylan Walker his personal punching bag.

Speaking of the Sea Eagles, Walker will be out for six weeks with a broken eye socket from the incident, and Apisai Koroisau is set to join him on the sidelines.

Running through the rest of the teams, and it would appear Korbin Sims will miss this week with a broken jaw after the big hit from Dylan Napa, who sensationally has no case to answer at the judiciary after being sent to the sin bin. It means the Roosters are likely to be unchanged.

Raiders second-rower Joseph Tapine wasn’t quite so lucky, though, and will miss two weeks for a shoulder charge.

At Parramatta, Beau Scott will miss the rest of the season for the Eels with an ACL injury, while Jarryd Hayne and Nathan Brown are possible ins for this week.

Matt Scott is waiting on results from scans on a knee injury to see if he will play this week, while Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Luke Lewis of the Warriors and Sharks respectively are also due back this week.

More problems are confronting the Knights, with Brock Lamb and Jacob Saifiti both injured last week, while there is a chance James Graham will also be missing after struggling with a back injury against the Raiders. The Dragons will take on Penrith in a top-of-the-table clash, who, for the first time this season, could be unchanged.
