A seven-race program has been assembled for Dubbo today, and there’ll be seven more in Grafton. Here are my quaddie previews for the two meetings.

Dubbo

We start in Dubbo with races 4-7.

Leg One
This looks an absolute dart board job with a host of chances. I’ve narrowed it down to four. Streetscape and Ancascocha are two who look to have upside a bit of ability. Rose Spectacular and Snappy Diamond have been around the mark for a while and can win with luck in running.

Leg Two
The Crockett pair of Sharpe Hussler and Artistic Beauty create some interest with the former second up while the latter is resuming. Both have the quality to win. Barricade has fresh legs and maps well while Beau Hoffa looks to get a potentially soft lead.

Leg Three
Another tricky race with a stack of winning chances. I’ve narrowed it to five runners, with 1, 3, 4, 5, 10 all going in. Hoping for some value so I’ll be cheering hardest for Moqwao.

Leg Four
Got Nothing could potentially be stood one out but does draw wide so I’ll cover myself with Tiara Star, who is topweight but can win. Call Me Brad, Incision and Victare can all go close with luck but Got Nothing clearly the horse to beat.

Grafton

Seven races will be run and won at Grafton today. Again, we’re looking at races 4-7.

Leg One
Think it’s all about Navy in this one. If he runs up to the trials, I think he wins and the early market support suggests he will so that’s good enough for me to have this horse one out in the quaddie.

Leg Two
The horses near the bottom of the field can figure prominently, namely 12, 13, 14, 15, with the main cheering to be for Onslow, who I like as an-each way proposition.

Leg Three
This is a tricky race with a few winning chances. Yeppoon is on top for me but he’s a complete unknown so I’ll include the 2, 3, 8, and 13 also in a race where anything can win without surprising.

Leg Four
Four horses in the last. All Important looks the one to beat with some good form next to his name. Also including the 2, 3, 9. If we can get Navy home in race four, I think the quaddie is safe.
