Victorian racing this Tuesday heads to the Geelong Synthetic while in Queensland some nice types step out at Rockhampton.

Here are my five plays for the meetings.

Bet One- Win- Geelong Race One Number 6 Bolossomo
Hard to catch but surely she goes close to beating these. Had a good run last week at the track/distance. Beaten fair and square but far from disgraced in a race which looked stronger on paper. Should get a lovely run from the gate and Clayton Douglas takes over.

Bet Two- Win- Geelong Race Five Number 5 Cymbalism
Thought they would miss her but they haven’t, opening her $3, which I think is too short. Good run last time out on the Pakenham Synthetic behind Believing. Looks to map ideally from the draw, just hoping we can get better than $3.

Bet Three- Each Way- Geelong Race Eight Number 11 Motown Blues
I could definitely have something on this mare at around the $26 mark. Thought she got a definite pass mark when resuming at Kilmore behind Salty Kisses. Has run well here before and should sit back off a good speed and look to launch late.

Bet Four- Each Way- Rockhampton Race Four Number 1 Gram Paso
Thought the $6 was well overs. Nat McCall trains this gelding, who is on debut. Trialled well back in late April at the Sunny Coast and looked to move nicely when placing. Faces a thin field and I thought he’d start much shorter.

Bet Five- Win- Rockhampton Race Five Number 4 Doogus
Talented three year old for James Rundle that resumed here last Tuesday and closed off very well late in the piece when second to the well backed Cyclone Fugitive. Gets a nice run off the speed, fitter…$5 will do me over a $2.50 fav drawn 17.
