The Wallabies will play the world No.2 Ireland in their June International window, with a three-Test series. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the first Test online or watching it on TV.
Set to be played at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, kick-off in the first Test is scheduled for 8pm (AEST) on Saturday, June 9.
Ireland are fresh off victory in the Six Nations, not losing a game throughout the tournament. Their form will leave them a considerable challenge for the Wallabies, who haven’t played as a unit since their Spring Tour in 2017.
The match will be broadcast on two channels in Australia, as is the case with all Wallabies home games.
The first and best option to watch all the action will be through the home of the Wallabies, Fox Sports. Coverage of the game will be on Channel 501, with a pre-game show set to start directly after New Zealand’s first Test against France – at around 7:20pm (AEST).
That will allow for 40 mintues of pre-game discussion before Fox Sports wrap up their coverage at 10:30pm (AEST).
To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription which includes the sports package.
The other way to watch the first Test of the series will be on Channel Ten, who have the free-to-air broadcast rights to simulcast every game the Wallabies play at home.
Their coverage will begin at 7:30pm (AEST) and conclude at 10:15pm (AEST). You can find them on Channel 10 in standard definition or Channel 13 in high definition.
If you are looking to stream the match instead, there will also be a couple of options for you.
Again, using Foxtel’s dedicated streaming services is the best way to go. They have two methods, so it’s important to understand which one will work for you.
If you have a TV subscription to Foxtel already, you can watch the coverage on Fox Sports through the Foxtel App, which will be free to download and use with valid login details.
For those only wanting to stream the action, Foxtel Now will be the better option for you. Again, you’ll need a package with the sports channels included.
If you would prefer to stream the coverage on Ten, you can do so through either the TenPlay website or application which can be downloaded for free from the App or Google Play store.
Of course, The Roar will also be covering the match with a live blog and highlights.

This season is the first in at least 12 years where the Australian, New Zealand or South African international games weren't available in USA. Not sure if this was an oversight - or if Trump was part of negotiations here... For whatever reason - i looks like i will get my weekends back during the northern hemisphere summer. If anyone does have any tips on how to watch from this part of the world - please chime in. Cheers, andy

Many thanks for the tip about channel 10. I checked the TV guide and sure as eggs it's on there. Up until then I'd convinced the Missus to go to the local pub, which could have been a bit of a bun fight with loud live music and most patrons preferring AFL or League. So watching in comfort at home is far better. Thanks again. Oh and by the way GO THE WALLABIES...........GO YOU GOOD THING.
