The Bulldogs return to Belmore to take on the Titans in a battle of two struggling sides on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs will be looking to break a horror five-match losing streak when they head back to their spiritual home at Belmore to take on the Titans. The Bulldogs lost their fifth game of the season by two points against the Dragons in another game they competed in but couldn’t quite find the strike power to break down their opposition when they needed a try at the death.

The Titans are just one win ahead of the Bulldogs on the table after going down 18-16 to the Rabbitohs on the Gold Coast last week.

Canterbury Bulldogs scouting report
The Bulldogs have made just the one change to the side which lost narrowly on Monday, with David Klemmer returning to the starting side and Renouf Toomaga going back to the bench. Moses Mbye and Aaron Woods could well be playing their last game for the club, with both touted for midseason moves to the Tigers and Sharks respectively.

Gold Coast Titans scouting report
The Titans have lost enforcer Jarrod Wallace to suspension, with Jack Stockwell moving into the starting side. The Titans will be hoping Ash Taylor can outshine the Bulldogs halves, who have struggled to put their imprint on games this season.

Verdict
Not a whole lot of confidence trying to pick a winner here, but given they’re back at Belmore, I expect the Dogs to lift and get home in a close one. The Bulldogs have competed with everyone this year, while the Titans have had a tendency to be poor on the road. Like all Bulldogs games, this will be close, but I reckon they might sneak home for just their fourth win of the season.

Bulldogs by one to eight points.
