England have started their 2018 World Cup campaign with a last-gasp 2-1 win over a gutsy Tunisia.
Skipper Harry Kane was the hero for the Three Lions, opening the scoring just 11 minutes into the fixture before Tunisia pulled the game level courtesy of a Ferjani Sassi penalty ten minutes before half-time.
With the match seemingly destined for a draw, captain Kane popped up again for England, nodding home at the back post from a corner in injury time to give his side a 2-1 lead which they would hold on to until full-time.

Tunisia’s squad suffered a massive blow before the cup with the loss of Youssef Mskani.
Mskani is their main playmaker and is out injured with a bad knee injury. The coach has previously said losing him is like Argentina losing Lionel Messi.
England enter the World Cup with a young inexperienced squad of players – but they are talented.
Harry Kane has been giving the captains armband and he will be looking to improve on his poor international form.
For this club Tottenham however, it’s a different story, scoring 30 goals in the Premier League season.
Danny Welbeck is the other attacking option. He will likely start on the bench but has scored more goals for England than anyone else in that squad.
In defence Harry Maguire earned himself a spot in Gareth Southgate’s squad after a stellar few seasons in the Premier League.
The man in doubt from the squad is Marcus Rashford, who suffered a slight knock. If he is okay, he should start.
Prediction
England’s biggest threat in Group G is Belgium. While they can’t afford to sleep on Tunisia and Panama, they have a much stronger side all over the pitch. If they stay disciplined they should come away with a result.
