There are two meetings in New South Wals on Tuesday, with programs set down for Corowa and Gosford. Here are my suggested bets across the two programs.

Bet 1: Win – Corowa Race 3, number seven: Keeper Girl
There’s a bit of depth compared to her last start, but I think she’ll take some beating regardless. Luke Pepper trains this daughter of Keeper, who bolted up over the 1375 metres here last time out, leading all the way to romp in by seven. She had good form at the mile when racing in New Zealand, so she’ll do me in what looks a race wide open outside her.

Bet 2: Win – Corowa Race 7, number one: Too Hard To Handle
This bloke looks rather promising for the Kate Goodrich team. He ran over 1000 metres on the Geelong Synthetic, where he got well back in the run but, gee, he let down with a strong finale to win impressively. This race looks to have depth, most notably Liberty’s Gift, but I’m confident he can get the job done here.

Bet 3: Each-way – Corowa Race 8, number two: Mitchell Road
Happy to speck this son of Magnus, who is around ten months between runs. He hasn’t raced since he did nothing in the Griffith Cup behind Great Panache. He resumes without a trial but can sprint well fresh and is a winner and draws to get a suck just behind the speed, with the claim for an in-form apprentice in Josh Richards.

Bet 4: Win – Gosford Race 1, number one: Kuiper Belt
He does carry top weight, but he should be too good for this lot. He’s done a really good job this time for the John Thompson yard and produced his career-best race last start at Hawkesbury when bolting in by over six lengths in a dominant display under Tye Angland. Not that much stronger here and I think only bad luck will beat him.

Bet 5: Win – Gosford Race 4, number four: Uber Lux
She’s bursting to win a race and I think she has a great chance here. She ran over this track and distance last time out when she did a bit of work early before eventually getting the 1/1, but that early work just told on her late when tiring to run third. She should do no work from the inside gate this time around and prove hard to beat.
