Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier will battle for the heavyweight title, headlining a busy card at UFC 226. The main card is advertised to begin at around 12pm (AEST) on Sunday, July 8, with the battle taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

If Cormier emerges victorious, he will be the second fighter after Connor McGregor to hold two belts simultaneously. He is undefeated in the heavyweight division (13-0).

A win for Miocic will extend his UFC record of heavyweight titles to four.

The build-up towards the main event features the featherweight title fight, with Max Holloway defending his crown against the unbeaten Brian Ortega.

TV and Live stream

The only way to watch the main card will be pay-per-view, either ordered via Main Event or UFC TV.

The Main Event pay-per-view can then be watched either via Foxtel or via Optus TV. If you want to live stream it online, you’re better to go with buying from UFC TV.

Both services cost you $54.95, though on UFC TV this will only get you the SD version – if you want HD, it’ll be $64.95.

If you want to watch the preliminary card you can see this on Fox Sports 501. And this means if you want to stream it you can do so through either Foxtel Now or the Foxtel app for the preliminary card.

But keep in mind you cannot see the main card on Fox Sports, only the preliminary card.

If you want to stay updated on the whole card, make sure you check out The Roar’s live blog of the event.
