World No.2 Roger Federer will look to keep his charge going on Manic Monday at Wimbledon when he takes on Adrian Mannarino in the fourth round.

The Fed Express was somewhat put under a little bit of pressure for the first time at these Championships during his third-round victory over the big-serving Jan-Lennard Struff.

Federer, who is chasing an unprecedented ninth crown at Wimbledon was pushed all the way to 7-5 in the second set before he finally managed to break Struff, who put on an impressive display of serving.

Still, for the most part Federer was at his clinical best, as he has been across the grass season and during the rest of his first three rounds at the All England Club.

His other wins to date on the surface in London have come against Dusan Lajovic and Lukas Lacko. After a strong preparation only curtailed by a loss to Borna Coric in Halle, the Fed Express will have been impressed with the way he was able to dispose of his two opponents across the first six sets he played.

On the other side of the net, Mannarino has been in good form, but isn’t really in the same league as the world No.2.

Across their five matches played to date, Mannarino hasn’t come close to winning a set against Federer and struggled past Daniil Medvedev in five sets during the third round.

His other wins saw him get the better of Christan Garin and Ryan Harrison, with the later of those reasonably comfortable despite being pushed to a tiebreaker in the third set.

The five sets he played during the last round will have taken it out him, energy-wise and with Mannarino on his best surface, he may well be up for this match, but the occasion of playing Federer on centre court at Wimbledon will be far too much for him.

Prediction
Federer is going to win, with the only question yet to be determined regarding exactly how dominantly he will do it. Based on what we have seen so far, the answer will be very.

Fdderer in straight sets.
