Serena Williams still hasn’t ran into a problem at Wimbledon and be looking to keep it that way when she takes on Evgeniya Rodina in the fourth round. Join The Roar for live scores from around 12am – midnight (AEST).

The former world No.1 has been unblemished at the All England Club across the first three rounds. Handed the 25th seeding for the tournament by the organisers, Williams is yet to drop a set.

Not only will this run through Wimbledon land her back inside the top 100 players in the world at tournament’s end, but her start has a belief starting to generate that she could tie Margaret Court’s record next Saturday for a 24th grand slam title.

It’s not there yet though. This is only manic Monday at the Championships, with another three matches to win should she get over Rodina today.

So far, Williams has gone past Arantxa Rus, Viktoriya Tomova and Kristina Mladenovic. While she hasn’t dropped a set yet, the pressure was applied just a little bit by Mladenovic in the last round, with both sets going the distance.

Rodina, on the other hand, has now won six straight matches on the grass courts after having to go through the qualification phase simply to gain a spot in the main draw.

While she wasn’t challenged at all in the qualification stages, she has been taken to three sets in all of her main draw matches so far.

It’s her third round victory which will give her the most satisfaction though, knocking over the seeded, all-powerful and extremely dominant Madison Keys.

Winning the first set 7-5, she then dropped the second 5-7. That could have been enough to kill of any momentum she had, but Rodina fought hard, with the 29-year-old Russian going through the third set, grabbing a break of serve and taking it 6-4.

Prediction
Williams is going to win again. This match should challenge her about the same amount as the first three, despite the quality form of Rodina.

Williams in straight sets.
