FA Cup holders and five-time Premier League champions Chelsea FC make a rare visit down under when they face Perth Glory at Optus Stadium on Monday, July 23.

This is The Roar’s guide to how to watch the match online or on TV, as well as all the information you need to know in preparation for Monday night.

Australian football fanatics have a chance to witness some of the best talent in the world when Cesc Fabregas, Pedro, David Luiz and Marcos Alonso take part in Monday’s friendly.

Chelsea will also suit up for their first game since manager Antonio Conte announced he would be leaving the club effective immediately.

The game will be the first played at the new Perth-based stadium as the Glory, under new coach Tony Popovic, prepare to bounce back from last year’s disappointing eighth-place finish in the A-League.

How to watch online

SBS have exclusive rights to Monday’s friendly and you can catch the game online either through their streaming website or application.

After bringing us all of the action from this year’s World Cup, the World Game website or application is the best place to tune into the game online.

For the first time, SBS will live stream the Glory v Chelsea game on Twitter, with coverage kicking off at 9pm AEST/7pm WST at @TheWorldGame handle.

How to watch on TV

SBS will have exclusive coverage of the game, advertised to begin at 9pm (AEST) and wrap up by 11.45pm.

Free-to-air subscribers can view the match in high-definition on Channel 30 or standard-definition on Channel 31.

Foxtel customers have the same options, available on channels 228 and 104 respectively.
