It’s not injury news headlining the talk ahead of Round 22, with team list Tuesday set to throw up some shock decisions at both the Broncos and Knights. Join The Roar for all the news, analysis and teams from 3:30pm (AEST).

At the Broncos, it appears a backline shuffle is destined with youngster Gehmat Shibasaki tipped to make his debut in the centres. Jordan Kahu is likely to be the man missing out, while rumours suggest Darius Boyd will return to fullback.

Meanwhile in the Hunter, Nathan Brown may call on Kalyn Ponga to play in the halves with both Connor Watson and Mitchell Pearce expected to be out with injury.

It’s good news in the Victorian capital though, with Cameron Smith cleared of injury. He was back training with the NRL squad yesterday and will play on Sunday against the Sharks.

Elsewhere, Paul Vaughan will miss out with an ankle injury for the Dragons as they try to turn around their stuttering form line, while Shaun Fensom (concussion), Adam Doueihi (knee) and Sam Lisone (suspension) will miss out for the Cowboys, Rabbitohs and Warriors respectively.

With no sign of Robert Jennings or Greg Inglis yet for South Sydney, Braidon Burns looms as the likely replacement.

At Cronulla, Andrew Fifita is an unlikely starter after going down with a concussion late on during the Sharks clash against Manly, while Benji Marshall and Corey Thompson will also be racing the clock to be fit.

It’s unclear who Marshall’s replacement would be.

The conjecture surrounding Penrith is likely to be eased as well. While they may be without a coach on Saturday, James Maloney, Josh Mansour and James Tamou are all expected to be right to face the Gold Coast.
