Winx is attempting to break Black Caviar’s win record when she races this afternoon at Randwick. A win would make it 26-in-a-row for the 6-year-old mare. We have all the details covered so you can witness history.

Race start time for Group 1 is scheduled for 3pm (AEST) but might be delayed. Expected time for start is 3:05pm. It will be the 6th race of the day.

Winx is horse No.10 and will start from barrier 5. She is expected to win, and has been heavily backed as odds-on favourite although there are some challengers in with a chance. Oaks winner Unforgotten is noted as an outside chance, along with D’Argento and Ace High.

Formerly the Group 2 Warwick Stakes, the race has been elevated to Group 1 status and renamed in honour of the champion mare.

The length of the race is 1400m which is average for a Group 1 event.
