Winx has extended her record-breaking winning streak out to 26 consecutive races with victory in the race named for her, the 2018 Winx Stakes at the Royal Randwick Racecourse.
The result sees her break the all-time record of 25 consecutive wins as set by Black Caviar, and put her name even more firmly into the history books.
The mare’s main challenger coming into the race was Kementari, and the two were neck and neck towards the end before Winx blasted away from the pack.
In the end she finished the comfortable winner, and deservedly so, adding another chapter to an already sterling legacy.
Kementari ultimately finished in fourth, with Invictus Plate and D’argento filling out the top three behind Winx.

Wow! Just wow!!! I have my ticket bought for the Cox Plate the day tickets went on line. Saw Nell in the flesh and can't wait to see Win as well. Bobby has always been my fave but what a bunch of Aussie champs! Only in Australia could you have world champs called Bobby Nelly and Winnie!
