Leicester City are out to conjure up their first win of the season when they host the Wolverhampton Wanderers. Join The Roar for live scores of the match from 12 midnight (AEST).

Leicester probably should have salvaged something from their opening match, having been the better team leading into halftime against Manchester United, and they had several opportunities to draw level early in the second period, but it wasn’t to be.

By the time that Jamie Vardy found the back of the net, it was too little too late.

If the Foxes are planning on beating the Wolves here, they will need Kelechi Iheanacho in form. Against United, he had a lot of possession, but his execution in front of goal was poor. He is a young talent, but the responsibility of being Leicester’s main striker may be too much for him to handle.

As for the newly-promoted Wolves, they performed well across the board against Everton, who had to settle for a draw.

Against Leicester City, they will have to beat Kasper Schmeichel, who is coming off a great World Cup. The Dane conceded only two goals in his four outings, proving himself to be one of the world’s best ‘keepers.

Prediction
Leicester are a powerhouse at home, and they should turn their fortunes around against the Wolves, who still need a little more time to adjust to Premier League football.
