Manchester United will look to continue their winning form against a struggling Brighton and Hove Albion. Join The Roar for live scores of the match from 1am (AEST).
In the opening game of the Premier League, the men from Old Trafford scored a win most people saw coming.
That said, though United led 2-0 until Leicester’s consolation goal in injury time, the Foxes had several opportunities to equalise and force Jose Mourinho’s men to settle for a draw.
Still, while the Red Devils looked lacklustre, this can probably be explained by most of their players receiving limited pre-seasons after the World Cup. They will be better for the run, and should be better prepared to take on Brighton.
The Seagulls were not particularly impressive either; outclassed by Watford in all departments in a 2-0 loss. One positive was the debut of Alireza Jahanbakhsh, who adds another attacking option for Chris Hughton.
But although the Iranian winger’s debut was promising, it won’t be enough to overcome United.
Predictions
A United side still returning to form should be able to make in two from two against the struggling Brighton.
Brighton 0-2 Manchester United
