Backs
Brayden Maynard, Tom Langdon and Jack Crisp should all curtail a hapless Dockers forward line if the Dockers’ Round 22 performance is anything to go by.
There is an opportunity for all three to display why they are three of the most underrated defenders in the competition.
Nic Newman has been a solid contributor as of late and has the chance to show that he deserved to be in the Swans team earlier in the season.
Logan Austin has a chance to cement his place in the Saints best team if he is to emulate his performance from Round 22 this weekend.
Rory Laird is possibly the best attacking half-back flanker in the AFL and provides plenty of run defensively.
Midfielders
The Tigers will probably find it tough to curtail the influence of Lachie Hunter who has been prolific in the last month.
Tom Mitchell is probably going to win the Brownlow Medal in 2018 and could show why against the Swans. Chris Masten has a good opportunity to step up in the absence of Andrew Gaff.
Forwards
The Suns will have a difficult task of negating Sam Menegola when they face the Cats as he has been in solid form this season.
Tom Lynch will be an asset for the Crows when they face the Blues. Tim Kelly was possibly the Cats best player in Round 22 and could emulate that performance against the Suns.

Brandan Parfitt and Tom Hawkins kicked four and six goals respectively and have the opportunity to dominate in Round 23 when they play against the Suns.
Hugh Greenwood had a good game last Sunday and will start to get more notoriety if he can repeat the dose in Round 23.
Followers
Brodie Grundy will probably dominate his duel with Sean Darcy of the Dockers if their respective performances last round are worth judging.
Matt Crouch accumulated over forty possessions last weekend and can do the same against a struggling Blues outfit in Round 23. Sebastian Ross has been outstanding for the Saints of late and this Sunday should be no different.
Interchange
Justin Westhoff played a good game against the Magpies last Saturday and will need to do the same against the Bombers if his side has any hope of being competitive.
Zach Merrett has been in superb form for the Bombers. The Power may really struggle in matching up against the surging interchange.
Jack Macrae could get the three votes on Brownlow Medal night this year for the Bulldogs against the Tigers in their Round 23 clash thanks to his strong play as of late.
David Zaharakis nearly helped get the Bombers over the line last Friday night and could very well put forth a repeat performance against the Power.
