It looks like it’ll be one-sided on paper, but Brighton and Hove Albion will be out to cause another huge upset when they travel to play Liverpool at Anfield. Join The Roar for live scores from 2:30am (AEST).

The same comments could have been written about Brighton last week when they took on Manchester United, but after coming away with a 3-2 victory over the Red Devils, it appears the sky could now be the limit for the side.

If they can play like they did last week, full of aggression and looking for goals, they may be able to catch out a Liverpool side who simply mustn’t get complacent.

Complacency hasn’t been a problem yet for the men from Anfield, with two solid enough victories to get their season underway. They started with a 4-0 victory over West Ham, then followed it up with a solid, yet not convincing 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last week.

Liverpool haven’t let in a goal yet and will aim to keep it that way as they aim to keep pace with Manchester City at the top of the English Premier League table.

While Brighton got the better of the Manchester-based United last week, they will still need to be consistent and play the full 90 to stand a chance against Liverpool, after they lost to Watford 2-0 away from home during their first game of the season.

The visitors in this clash haven’t had a great deal of fun against Liverpool respectively either, with the club losing both matches in the top flight against the club, and only winning four historically.

Prediction
If Liverpool were away from home, you’d have to vote Brighton a chance just purely based on what they were able to do last week. On the road though, there is likely to be some sort of a let-down for the visitors and Liverpool should run away with their third win of the season in as many games.
