After yet another thumping by the All Blacks, aided by unimaginative thinking by coach Michael Cheika, it’s time for change at the Wallabies.

You can’t fault Cheika when it comes to his passion, belief, and devotion to his players – they’re all admirable qualities, but one of Cheika’s biggest attributes (player devotion) is also his greatest weakness.

In a nutshell, he has to drop Bernard Foley, and put Kurtley Beale or Matt Toomua at 10. It’s that simple. Beauden Barrett has completely outplayed Foley in every sense, and there hasn’t been a Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup or World Cup victor without a world-class 9/10 relationship to run the ship and create plays.

Steve Hansen is prepared to make the bold call and has shown what it takes to be an international coach, and has created a consistently winning side. We are consistently losing, and in doing so, losing our fanbase.

Please Michael, make a change at 10 – we cannot beat New Zealand two out of three times with Foley at five-eighth. History has proven it so.

Forget the defense (if only for a moment), we need to score points! 12 and 13 points in the last two matches? Please.

We are in danger of losing both games to a resurgent Springboks, and will have our hands full against Argentina with Foley at 10.

If that’s the case, sadly, you shouldn’t be the national coach, and we need to bring someone in with more imagination when it comes to putting the best team possible out on the paddock.
