Cruising through the tournament only dropping one set to Kaia Kanepi in their fourth round clash, all eyes are on her to secure her record seventh US Open title and 24th Grand Slam overall.

However she’ll face talented opposition on Naomi Osaka who has also enjoyed a dominant run through the tournament, dropping only a single set, to Aryne Sabalenka.

Osaka and Williams have met only once before – just recently at the Miami Masters, when Osaka won 6-3 6-2.
