Let’s take a look at the Aussies making headlines in the world of the NFL.

Adam Gotsis – DE @ Denver Broncos
Adam Gotsis has been a regular on the defense, playing on the right side as a defensive end. Gotsis is enjoying his third season in Denver and has lined up for 40 per cent of the snaps through the first three games.

An ever-reliable presence at the position, Gotsis will see plenty of time on the field this season with the Broncos who are already 2-1 this season. Rating: 7.5/10

Jordan Mailata – OT @ Philadelphia Eagles
Mailata is yet to play a snap for the Eagles in the regular season. Hopes are high for the 6 ft 8 in, 346 lb former Souths Sydney Rabbitoh.

It won’t be long before we see the big unit on the field for the defending champions. Rating: 0/10

Cameron Johnston – Punter @ Philadelphia Eagles
The 26-year-old is in his second stint in Philly, after being dropped last season, but picked up off waivers this year. He is enjoying a good start to the year, punting a total of 14 times for an average of 51.5 yards.

His punts are returned for an average of five yards, which is a credit to his ability and of those players around him. Four of his 14 kicks have landed inside the opposition 20.

Rating: 6.5/10

Lachlan Edwards – Punter @ New York Jets
Edwards is in his third season with the Jets and is a stalwart of the franchise. Like Johnston, he averages around 50 yards per punt and has a return average of 6 yards. However, he has dropped 7 kicks inside the opposition 20 this season and is also yet to have a kick returned for a touchdown.
Rating: 7/10

Jordan Berry – Punter @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Berry is in his fourth year in Pittsburgh and is in the midst of his worst season to date. He is struggling with the football, averaging only 41 yards a kick and only has three inside the opposition 20.

There are rumours circling that the Steelers are looking to try out a new kicker to replace Berry. He needs to lift his game if he wants to continue in the league.

He does have a longest punt of 79 yards, which is well above anyone else in the league. Rating: 4/10

Michael Dickson – Punter @ Seattle Seahawks
Dickson has had an incredible start to his NFL career. Never has a punter had so much hype around him coming into a season. When the Seahawks kicked off the year three weeks ago, there was talk of Dickson being the offensive MVP he was that good.

His 21 punts for 1,020 yards at an average of 48.6 is something the NFL has never seen. He is streets ahead of the second best in the league.

He even produced a dropkick in week two against the Chicago Bears which sent the NFL into meltdown. He has dug the Seahawks out of some terrible holes already this season. He will be around the league for a long time. Rating: 9/10
