Since the Broncos are going to get rid of Wayne Bennett in 2019, which I believe could still happen this offseason, he needs another team.

So where might Wayne end up?

Parramatta Eels
This would be the best fit, as The Eels got the wooden spoon this year have been going through rough times for a while and Bennett could really help these problems.

He may not be as good as a coach as he used to be, but if Parramatta signed him this offseason he would be able to make them a top-eight team. Also he has history with Corey Norman which can help too.

Penrith Panthers
I would like Penrith to try and see how their current coach Cameron Ciraldo will go next season. However if the Panthers don’t make top six next season I would get rid of Ciraldo.

I believe Penrith have a really strong team; they’ve just got to figure themselves out and work as a team. I think Wayne Bennett is the guy to fix that

Wests Tigers
This is only if Nathan Cleary leaves. Bennett would be a good replacement as he is a better coach.

He would be able to help Luke Brooks, Josh Reynolds, and Moses Mbye to work together better dominating sides left and right.

I believe Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall will retire after next season, so there’s no need to talk about them.

They may have just missed out on the top eight, but Wayne Bennett would make them a contender.

These teams will have to hurry though as Wayne Bennett is 68 years of age. Like most of us he is getting older day by day.

What do you think, Roarers? Are there any other NRL teams that should try and snare rugby league’s Clint Eastwood next season? Or should he go elsewhere?
