Led by breakout second-rower Rhyse Martin, the Bulldogs charged to the title in the Intrust Super Premiership with a hard-fought 18-12 win over the Newtown Jets.

Steve Georgallis’ men suffered early 10-0 deficit before holding the Jets tryless in the second half to secure the victory.

The come-from-behind win spoke volumes of Canterbury’s finals series.

Despite falling in their qualifying final with the Panthers, Canterbury surged to win three-straight games on the way to the premiership and will be riding a wave of momentum.

The Dolphins, on the other hand, have played just two matches in the past month, including last week’s 36-22 grand-final win over the Easts Tigers.
