Three meetings are programmed for Tuesday, with the feature being at Muswellbrook for Kayuga Cup Day. Here are my five plays for the afternoon.

Bet One- Win- Muswellbrook Race Four Number 6 Lady Of Kos
I think she’s the bet in this race. She looks to have upside and hopefully won’t be far away from the draw.

Bet: $30 Win at $3.9 (BetEasy)

Bet Two- Win- Muswellbrook Race Eight Number 11 Arugula
Bet of the day for mine. He only comes out of a Highway at Randwick but that edition did have city-class horses engaged. This bloke just had no luck in what was a pretty plain steer from Ben Looker.

Won over this track/distance in August and the form out of it has been sensational. Draws to get clear air this time and the depth here isn’t strong.

Bet: $70 Win at $3.6 (BetEasy)

Bet Three- Win- Beaudesert Race One Number 7 Bel’s Banner
Looks a race in two between this girl and the un-raced Michael Costa runner. I’m siding with race experience.

Thought her effort was full of merit last time over 1000m at the Sunny Coast, sitting on speed and fighting on well when second to Flame Of Liberty. Should lead from the draw and prove hard to beat.

Bet: $50 Win at $2.45 (Sportsbet)

Bet Four- Win- Kilmore Race Three Number 2 Castle Rock
Pretty keen on this bloke. Unlucky two back on the Pakenham Synthetic before going to Wangaratta where he was again held up but eventually got clear and was good late behind Chapada, who ran well in the Caulfield Classic on Saturday.

Think that form reads very well for this, gets the blinkiers on – just needs to handle the Kilmore track to win.

Bet: $50 Win at $2.4 (Neds)

Bet Five- Each Way- Kilmore Race Seven Number 8 She’s Deluxe
I think the double figures on offer is clearly overs. Mick Price trains this mare, who was strong two back at Bairnsdale before racing at Pakenham on the Synthetic where she was given a lovely steer from Walker. She proved too good for Madam Stowell, who won the maiden next start, so the form has been franked somewhat. Can definitely have something on each way.

Bet: $20 Win/$30 Place at $10/$3.2 (BetEasy)

Total Spend: $250
