Two NSW meetings have been assembled for Monday, including my home track at Tuncurry where seven races have been set down.

Here are my five plays for the afternoon.

Bet One- Win- Tuncurry Race One Number 9 Margie Bee
Looks to be a bit of depth to this maiden, but I’ll side with the Kristen Buchanan first starter, who looked very sharp in winning a Wyong barrier trial last week by over five lengths and did it under a hold late.

Like the Lees filly, Adam Duggan’s first starter has trialled well, but I think this filly looks above average.

Bet: $70 Win at $3.3 (BetEasy)

Bet Two- Each Way- Tuncurry Race Two Number 5 Cornforth
Interesting runner. Former Queenslander that was with Natalie McCall at the Sunny Coast but now finds himself at Coffs with Jim Jarvis, and Jim is a great horseman at improving tried horses. His form in Queensland didn’t read too bad and he saves his best when produced fresh.

Not declaring him, but the $15+ looks clear overs for a more than capable galloper.

Bet: $10 Win/$20 Place at $17/$3.75 (Bet365)

Bet Three- Win- Tuncurry Race Five Number 5 Let Me Guess
Thought we’d get an each way price, not $3.50. Too short for my liking so take the tote and you should get better.

He resumed in what looked a handy country maiden at Newcastle ad was far from disgraced when working home late to run fifth. Long Tuncurry straight will suit this mare and her form from last prep does read well for this.

Bet: $30 Win (Tote)

Bet Four- Each Way- Tuncurry Race Six Number 6 Surf Coast
Third up specialist who looks silly odds. Didn’t mind his last start effort at Grafton when getting back to near last in the run but I didn’t mind his last 200m behind Camillo.

Gate one, so can sit closer, and the claim for Wilston-Taylor certainly helps. $30+, he’s definitely worth a peanut each way given his third up record.

Bet: $10 E/W at $34$8.5 (BetEasy)

Bet Five- Win- Dubbo Race Five Number 7 Reprimand
I think if she runs up to her best, she’s probably a $1.2-$1.3 chance. She’s a borderline midweek metro class horse so with that being the case, she should put these away.

Ran over the 1000m at Warwick Farm last time where she just copped too much pressure in front and dropped out behind Absolute Ripper. 2/2 at the track/distance and barring bad luck, she’ll be winning.

Bet: $70 Win at $1.7 (Bet365)

Total Spend: $220
