The second Test of India’s tour to Australia will be played in Perth, with the home side desperately needing a win after dropping the first Test. This is The Roar‘s guide to live streaming the match online or watching it on TV.

It’s due to get underway on Friday, December 14 and run until Tuesday, December 18, with the first ball at 1:20pm (AEDT) on each day, weather permitting.

This second Test will be the first to be played at Perth’s 60,000-seat Optus Stadium, with the WACA no longer used for big series.

Australia lost the first Test by just 31 runs after a spirited effort from their tail end batsmen in the second innings, but the scoreboard doesn’t quite tell the whole story.

India were well ahead for most of the match and, in the end, it was only the batting of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon and Josh Hazlewood – the bowlers – who kept some hope alive during the fifth day of the match for Australia.

How to watch the match on TV

As with every Test match this summer under Cricket Australia’s new TV deal, there is a choice for fans to watch the action.

The first option is to go through Fox Sports, who have launched a round-the-clock cricket Channel, called Fox Cricket. It can be found on Channel 501.

Their coverage will begin at 12:20pm (AEDT) each day, however, you will need a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package to watch the action.

The alternative to Fox Sports is to tune in through Channel 7, who will broadcast the game from 12:30pm (AEDT) each day. Their coverage can be found on Channel 71 in high definition and 70 in standard definition. If you are watching Seven through a Foxtel service, then you’ll want to use channel 207 or 107 respectively.

How to live stream the match online

If you would prefer to stream the match online, you can do so through any of Foxtel’s applications.

The best option for those already with a TV subscription to Foxtel is to sign up for the Foxtel App, which is free to use and download with a valid username and password.

If you only want to stream Foxtel channels, then you will want to check out Kayo Sports, a sports-only streaming service, with packages starting from $25 per month.

On the flipside, if you want to stream all of Foxtel’s channels, then you’ll want to set up your package with Foxtel Now.
