Kick-off time

The match starts at 3pm local time in the United Arab Emirates where the 2019 Asian Cup is being held, but of course for Australian viewers the time will be a bit different.

If you’re watching from New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania or the ACT then that means you’re in the AEDT time zone, where the match will start at 10pm on Sunday January 6.

If you’re watching in Queensland it’ll be 9pm (AEST), in South Australia 9:30pm (ACDT), in the Northern Territory 8:30pm (ACST), and in Western Australia 7pm (AWST).

TV

Foxtel hold the exclusive rights to broadcast the Asian Cup live on TV, it won’t be shown on any free-to-air stations.

The entire tournament, including this match between the Socceroos and Jordan, will be broadcast on Fox Sports 505.

Live stream

Because the match is being broadcast on Foxtel, that means there’s a number of different ways you can live stream it.

The new kid on the sports live streaming block, Kayo Sports, is one option. A Kayo subscription will allow you to live stream any event being shown on a Fox Sports channel, including this match.

Alternatively you can live stream directly through Foxtel, using either the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now.

If you’ve already got a Foxtel TV service then you should be able to live stream through the Foxtel App for free, if not, Foxtel Now is available as a pay-by-the-month streaming service.

However if you’re choosing between the two solely for the purpose of watching sport, Kayo is the more economical choice compared to Foxtel Go.
