The 2019 AFLW season gets underway this afternoon as the Geelong Cats host the Collingwood Magpies at GMHBA stadium.

However that’s just one of five matches this weekend in the newly-expanded ten-team competition which in addition to Geelong has also welcomed North Melbourne to the fold.

Want to watch the AFLW in season 2019? You’re in the right place – we’ve got all of the infomration you need whether you’re watching on TV or looking to live stream.

TV

This year’s coverage will be split, as previous years have been, between the Seven network and Fox Footy.

As the league expands, there will now be two matches per week broadcast on free-to-air TV via the Seven Network.

Within Victoria these matches will usually be shown on Channel Seven, but outside Victoria they’ll most likely be on 7mate or 7TWO.

Outside Victoria, not only will you be able to watch the two free-to-air matches each week, but you’ll also get whichever matches feature the team representing your state.

Want to watch a match that’s not on free-to-air? Every match will also be broadcast live on Fox Footy.

Live stream

The quickest – and also free – method is simply to head to the AFLW match centre, click on your match of choice and you can live stream it from there.

Of course, if you’re already signed up for a sports live streaming service like Kayo Sports then you’ll be able to stream all of the AFLW matches through there too.
