A new Super Rugby season has arrived, with the Crusaders looking to make it three in a row and Australian clubs looking to have more than one team in the finals for the first time since 2015. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming every match of the season online, and watching them on TV.

Round 1 of the competition will get underway on Friday, February 15 with a New Zealand derby between the Chiefs and Highlanders at FMG Stadium in Waikato, with kick-off scheduled for 5:35pm (AEDT)

The first match featuring Australian teams will follow that one on the same day, with the Brumbies set to host the Rebels at 7:45pm (AEDT).

This year’s competition will run over 18 continuous weeks, giving it an earlier finish date of June 15 (with finals to follow) due to the Rugby World Cup and no June International window.

Each team will play 16 games throughout the season, with two byes.

The conference structure will again be used, splitting the competition into Australian, New Zealand and South African. The top team from each automatically qualifies in the top three positions on the table for the finals.
