The W-League final has arrived, with Sydney FC set to host Sam Kerr and the Perth Glory. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming the match online and watching it on TV.
The match will be played at Jubilee Oval in the Sydney suburb of Kogarah, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30pm (AEDT) on Saturday, February 16.
Sydney FC had a straightforward progression to the final after beating the Brisbane Roar last week, however, Perth Glory needed extra time to get past the Melbourne Victory on the road, eventually winning the match 4-2 with some Sam Kerr brilliance leading the way.
Here in Australia, there will be two ways to watch the 2018-19 W-League decider between Sydney and Perth.
The first of those is through Foxtel, who have the Fox Sports suite of channels. They will broadcast the game on Channel 505 from 3:30pm (AEDT), with an hour pre-game show to precede the game.
To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.
If you’d prefer to watch coverage on free to air TV, then you’ll be able to do so through SBS Viceland, which can be found on digital TV at Channel 32 and Foxtel at 142.
The match is also going to be available online through a number of methods.
The best of those methods will be to stream the Foxtel coverage, which will also help when you want to watch other football matches played in competitions like the A-League.
The main two ways of streaming the Fox Sports coverage are the Foxtel App (better for those with a TV subscription) and Foxtel Now (better for those only wanting to stream Foxtel channels).
Foxtel’s coverage will also be available through Kayo Sports, which allows you to stream every Foxtel sports channel for $25 per month.
Outside of Foxtel, you’ll also be able to stream the action on the My Football App, or SBS On Demand.
