Two of the most successful sides in the history of the 2019 World Club Challenge go head-to-head, with the Sydney Roosters clashing with the Wigan Warriors for the unofficial title of best club in the world.

The big game is set to get underway at 6am (AEDT) on Monday, February 18 (Australian time) at the DW Stadium in Wigan.

How to watch on TV

There’ll be two options if you want to watch the World Club Challenge on television.

The ad-break free (during play) option is Fox League, available as part of Foxtel’s sports package. Fox League’s coverage of the big match will commence at 5:30am (AEDT) and will conclude at 8am.

Channel Nine will also be broadcasting the match, although it appears the match has been relegated to Gem in most regions. Check your local guides for confirmation.

In any case, their coverage kicks off at 5:45am.

The best way to stream the World Club Challenge is Kayo Sports, a streaming service that allows you access any sporting content on Foxtel without having to subscribe to any of Foxtel’s other TV packages. It’s the only way to livestream the match without ad breaks during play.

If you want to watch the game, but do want to have access to some other Foxtel content as well, you’ll want to subscribe to Foxtel Now. If you’ve already got Foxtel on your TV, you can simply use the Foxtel App.

You can also stream Gem’s coverage 9Now, which is a free application that streams Channel Nine content – however that stream will have commercials.

If you’re already subscribed to the NRL Digital Pass, you’ll be able to watch this match on it as well.
