The 2019 World Club Challenge will see the NRL’s Sydney Roosters tackle the Super League’s Wigan Warriors in the UK. Kick-off will be at 6am (AEST) on Monday, February 18.

The Roosters took out the 2018 NRL premiership as minor premiers, while Wigan were able to do so from second place. Both sides used incredible defence in their respective grand finals, conceding just 10 points in total between them.

Wigan currently hold the record with four World Club Challenge victories, although not only will the Roosters equal that record with a win, they will have also reached that figure without a loss.

These two teams met in the 2014 match, with the Roosters emerging convincing 36-14 victors.
