New Zealand Rugby has confirmed talks are underway to stage a cross-code match between the All Blacks and the Kangaroos.
The Kangaroos will face New Zealand in a trans-Tasman double-header in Wollongong, the NRL has announced.
The Jillaroos and the Kiwi Ferns will also meet at WIN Stadium, with the matches on October 25.
“Rugby league has a home in the Illawarra, so we’re delighted to bring the pinnacle of rugby league back to Wollongong for the first time in five years,” NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg said.
