Being a sports car enthusiast, I have always been fond of electrifying car races and I have always look forward to best races happening around the world.

Watching Formula One is certainly one of the most stimulating experiences. If you are fan of heavy-muscled cars, power-packed races and stunning race tracks then you have to tune in to the 2019 Australian Grand Prix.

For those of you who are not familiar with the 2019 Australian Grand Prix, I am going to tell you why this amazing race is one of the major events of the year in Australia. And for all the sports car lovers around the world, this why you cannot miss this race.

Australian Grand Prix is an annual motor race, formally known as the Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix, that has been held in Australia since 1928, and has been contested for 83 times.

It has served as a great platform to showcase the very best of the sports cars and drivers all around the world. Audiences across the globe gather to witness the world’s finest sports cars and the men behind them.

That is why the Australian Grand Prix is considered as one of the great events of Australia. The Melbourne race will take place at Albert Park, marking the first round of the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship.

The Australian Grand Prix has been around for decades and people from all over from Australia as well as the rest of the world come to watch it.

If we look back to the Australian Grand Prix in 2017, a total of 296,600 people attended the race, which took place on March 26 in Melbourne. The distance covered during race was 57 laps, or 302.271 kilometres.

Pole position was secured by British driver Lewis Hamilton, while the fastest lap was completed by the Finnish Kimi Räikkönen. German racer Sebastian Vettel bagged first place.

Once more, the 2018 Australian Grand Prix was held on March 25 in Melbourne. The total distance covered was 58 laps, 307.574 kilometres. Once again, Hamilton secured the pole position and Vettel won the race, but Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo clocked the fastest lap.

The 2019 Australian Grand Prix is likely to be as grand as the last two editions, and more people are definitely expected to attend.

This year, 20 drivers representing ten teams are going to enter into the race. Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel enters the round as the defending race winner and Lewis Hamilton enters the round as the defending World Drivers’ Champion.
