While the Formula 1 will be the lead act at Albert Park for the season opener, there are a series of support events – including Australia’s premier racing series, the Supercars – taking to the track to complete the four days of action.

The Supercars headline the support acts, with two half-hour practice sessions on Thursday, followed by four ten-minute qualifying sessions split across Thursday and Friday.

They will then have four races across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the first three being 23 laps in length, and the final 13 laps.

The rest of the events are limited in their races to either ten or eight laps for Formula 4.

Outside of the Formula 4 and Ferrari Challenge, the rest of the support categories are ones you would usually see on a Supercars track schedule, with the Porsche Carrera Cup and Australian GT rounding out the field.

Formula 1 will have three practice sessions, an hour of qualifying divided into three brackets, and a 58-lap race on Sunday.

The full schedule is subject to change, but should stick more or less to this order.
