The 2019 Formula One Season will head to Albert Park in Melbourne for its season-opener, and one of the key support events are Australia’s premier racing category, the Supercars. This is The Roar’s guide to catching every moment of them on track this weekend.

The Supercars, while formerly being an exhibition event at the Formula One Grand Prix, now have a full-blown championship round, complete with four races, four qualifying sessions, and a couple of practice hit-outs.

They will feature on track every day of the event, from Thursday, March 14 through to Sunday, March 17.

The first three races will be 23 laps in duration, while the final, on the Sunday, will only be 13 laps. A full schedule can be found at the bottom of this piece.

How to watch Supercars at Albert Park on TV

The 2019 Supercars event at the Australian Formula One Grand Prix can be seen in its entirety on Fox Sports, through Channel 506.

They have the rights to all Formula One and Supercars races throughout the year, and so will be showing all the support events at Albert Park.

To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you will need a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.

Channel Ten should also be in a position to broadcast the Saturday and Sunday races, as they have coverage of both weekend days from 11am (AEDT).

How to live stream Supercars at Albert Park online

If you are looking to live stream the Supercars event at Albert Park, you can do so through the Fox Sports coverage.

The best way to do that is to tune in through Kayo Sports, who have the rights to stream all of Foxtel’s sports channels, as well as other selected events, for $25 per month.

The other methods will be to use the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now, which are Foxtel’s dedicated streaming applications.

The App is the better option if you already have a TV subscription, as it’s free to login with valid details. Again, both subscriptions must have the sports pack of channels to be able to view Supercars.
