The race, set to be run at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in Melbourne, will be run over 58 laps, with a field of 22 drivers set to hit the track. It will begin on Sunday, March 17 at 4:10pm (AEDT).

It’s expected to take around 2 hours, with the Formula 1 track schedule stating it won’t run past 6:10pm (AEDT) on the Sunday evening.

The track is just over five kilometres in length, making the race a tick over 300 kilometres in total.

How to watch the 2019 Australian Grand Prix on TV

The best way to tune into the Australian Grand Prix (and every other race this Formula 1 season), will be through Fox Sports, who are broadcast via Foxtel.

They have extensive coverage of every practice and qualifying session, as well as the race on Channel 506.

Their broadcast will run all day, and you can tune into it by having a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.

How to live stream the 2019 Australian Grand Prix online

The race can also be live streamed via any of Foxtel’s streaming services.

The best one to use though is Kayo Sports, which have the rights to all of Foxtel’s sports channels, plus other selected events.

You can also tune in through either of Foxtel’s dedicated streaming applications, known as Foxtel Now and the Foxtel App. They will both need to have the sports package of channels to be able to watch the F1.

Here at The Roar, we will also have a live blog and highlights of the race as it happens so that you won’t miss a moment of the action.
