The 2019 Australian Prix has arrived to kick-off another season, and with qualifying done, the grid has been set and all is in readiness at Albert Park. The race will start at 4:10pm (AEDT) on Sunday, March 17.

Run over 58 laps, or time capped to two hours in duration, the all-important first race of the season will be the first chance to look at drivers racing for new teams and a changed field on the grid.

Luckily for the drivers, the sun is expected to be shining over Melbourne when the green flag drops on Sunday afternoon.

Sebastian Vettel is the defending champion, after he beat Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen in last year’s race.

Daniel Ricciardo, racing for Renault this year after leaving Red Bull Racing, will be Australia’s best hope of a home victory.
