How to watch the Matildas online or on TV: Australia vs USA international football friendly live stream, TV guide

The Matildas will be back in action on Friday afternoon as they continue their World Cup preparations with a friendly against the United States of America. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming the action online, or watching it on TV.

The match is scheduled to be played at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado, with kick-off set for 12:30pm (AEDT) on Friday, April 5, making it a Thursday evening game in the USA.

How to watch the match on TV

Luckily for football fans, the match will be available on a few different TV stations in Australia.

The best option is to tune in through the network which broadcasts all of the Matildas games, Fox Sports. Their coverage will begin shortly before kick-off.

To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you will need to have access to a valid Foxtel TV subscription, which is complete with the sports pack.

You’ll also be able to tune into the match on free to air TV through SBS Viceland, available on Channel 32.

How to live stream the match online

There are also a couple of options available if you’d prefer to stream the action online, through any device you may have available to you.

Again, the best of those is to pick up the Fox Sports coverage through Kayo Sports. For just $25 per month, this gives you access to all of Foxtel’s sports channels, as well as other selected events which they pick up the broadcast rights to.

You’ll also be able to use the Foxtel App and Foxtel Now to stream the action online. It should be noted here that you can use the Foxtel app for free if you have valid Foxtel login details from a TV subscription.

Again, to pick up the match, you’ll need to have the sports package included.

You’ll also be able to stream the action through the SBS website at The World Game.
