Roarers, we’re pretty stoked to announce the launch of a brand new podcast. We’re calling it Game of Codes.
The half-hour show will be published twice a week – on Tuesday and Thursday mornings – and will comprise five five-minute discussions on the hot topics in Australian sport between myself and the Expert columnists who contribute to The Roar each and every week, hosted by the wonderful Matthew ‘Petho’ Petherick.
In today’s launch episode, we break down the impact of the AFL’s new rules with Marnie Cohen, celebrate Greg Inglis’s wonderful career with Tim Gore, and analyse where the selectors went right and wrong with Australia’s 15-man Cricket World Cup squad with Glenn Mitchell.
With no undefeated teams left in the AFL, we also look at who the top contenders for the flag are a month into the season, and ask which teams are capable of stopping the Melbourne Storm in the NRL.
So have a listen in the player above, subscribe to the podcast on your preferred platform, leave us a review, and be sure to weigh in with your opinion on all the topics we covered.
