The Game of Codes podcast is back for another episode to wrap up all the major talking points from a bumper Anzac Day weekend of sport.

NRL Round 7 was nothing short of a nightmare for tipsters all over the country with the Bulldogs, Broncos, Sea Eagles and Knights all getting upset wins over the weekend, so rugby league Expert Joe Frost joined us to discuss which of those teams have turned a corner for good and which of them have only notched flash-in-the-pan victories.

And after breaking down who has to be in the Blues’ State of Origin team last week, today it’s Queensland on the agenda as we run the rule over the selection dilemmas facing Kevin Walters and his staff.

In the AFL, we’re joined by Roar Expert Marnie Cohen to break down West Coast’s recent woes and what they need to address to turn around their poor start to the season, before we turn our attention to which players have been the best recruits of the year to date.

To wrap things up, rugby union is on the agenda, with Brett McKay calling in to discuss whether Australian fans should be concerned about the Waratahs and Brumbies struggling to string wins together this Super Rugby season.

It’s a brand-new sports podcast from The Roar, so be sure to give us a listen in the player above, subscribe wherever you get your podcasts (like iHeartRadio or Apple Podcasts), and remember to leave us a review.
