The final of one of football’s most prestigious competitions has arrived, as EPL champions Manchester City clash with Watford in the final of the FA Cup. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.
The FA Cup final will be played on Sunday, May 19 at 2am (AEST), with the match to be held at Wembley Stadium in London, the home of all English football’s biggest matches.
Unlike the rest of the FA Cup, which hasn’t been available to Australian audiences this year, the FA Cup final will be live through ESPN, which is accessible in Australia through Foxtel.
They will broadcast the game on Channel 508, with coverage commencing half an hour before kick-off at 1:30am (AEST) on Sunday morning.
To watch the coverage on ESPN and Foxtel, you will need to ensure you have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package of channels.
There will be plenty of ways to stream the exclusive ESPN coverage in Australia, and it will depend on your circumstances as to which option will work best for you.
If you already have a TV subscription to Foxtel which includes the sports package, then a live stream of the match is included in your deal through the Foxtel App.
Without TV access to Foxtel, you will be able to use Kayo Sports, which is available from just $25 per month and allows you to access all of Foxtel’s sports channels, as well as other selected events.
The other way to go about is through Foxtel Now, which you must also ensure has the sports package of channels included in your deal.
