WATCH: Neale Daniher's powerful message for the Demons ahead of Pies clash

Neale Daniher has delivered a stirring speech to Melbourne players ahead of the Big Freeze clash.

The former Melbourne coach and Essendon best-and-fairest winner addressed the players about dealing with life when things get tough.

Daniher was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2013.

The 58-year-old has inspired many in the way he has conducted himself since, committing to raising awareness and millions of dollars to combat the disease through his FightMND organisation.

This year, the annual Big Freeze event will see former stars including Nick Riewoldt, Dane Swan and Jobe Watson go down the notorious slide.
