Tim Glasby and Jarrod Wallace have been recalled by Queensland coach Kevin Walters for State of Origin II in Perth.
The pair are the only changes from the team who had defeated NSW 18-14 earlier this month in Brisbane, replacing injured duo Joe Ofahengaue (knee) and Jai Arrow (ankle).
Wallace and Glasby will both start from the bench with Walters promoting Dylan Napa to the front row to take Arrow’s position in the 13.
Arrow has been ruled out for the remainder of the series after injuring his ankle in Gold Coast’s 24-20 NRL loss on Friday night to the Warriors.
The 23-year-old will visit a surgeon on Monday and is expected to be out for six to 12 weeks.
His misfortune has opened the door for Titans teammate Jarrod Wallace who had been overlooked for Origin I after a poor 2018 season.
The 27-year-old took the disappointment of missing out on the game-one squad in his stride with three strong performances since for the Titans.
After picking up 197 and 206 running metres against North Queensland and Brisbane, Wallace racked up 174m in the Warriors defeat.
“I’ve done the job as best I can,” Wallace told AAP after that match.
“I’ve run the metres and I’ve done the tackles and I’ve been really happy with my game the last month.
“If it’s good enough for Kevvie, I’ll be cheering because I want that jersey back.”
Next Sunday’s game will be Wallace’s sixth Origin for Queensland, while it will be game No.4 for Glasby.
The Newcastle forward, 18th man for game one, is a favourite of Walters and had always been likely to get a recall as the Maroons aim to wrap up the series in Western Australia.
Melbourne’s Christian Welch, Knights flyer Edrick Lee and St George Illawarra playmaker Corey Norman will travel with the squad as reserve players.
