How the Brumbies knock off the Jaguares

Australia’s lone representative in the Super Rugby finals – the Brumbies – have made it through to the final four. They say that, once you get to a semi-final, anything can happen – so what can the Brumbies achieve?

Before they can start thinking of the ultimate success, however, they’ve got a difficult road trip to Argentina to face the Jaguares first.

The Canberra side put the Sharks to the sword in the quarter-finals last week, eviscerating their hapless opponents 38-13 in an incredibly encouraging performance.

Is knocking off the Jaguares a case of rinse and repeat, or do the Brumbies need to mix it up to leave Buenos Aires in a good mood?

We were joined by Roar rugby expert Brett McKay on the Game of Codes podcast to analyse Saturday morning’s blockbuster semi-final.

Both sides come into this semi-final in absolutely ripping form. The Brumbies have won nine of their last ten matches, including the last seven in a row, while the Jaguares have won ten of 11.
