Thursday is podcast time, with episode 24 of the Game of Codes going up with, once again, plenty to talk about.

We’ve got rugby league, rugby union, AFL and football all getting a mention, and you can listen to it all in the player above.

First up, we cover the big news out of the NSW camp that Mitchell Pearce has been brought into the squad to replace the injured Nathan Cleary. Roar NRL expert Tim Gore breaks down the squad and asks; was he the right replacement?

The NRL stays under the microscope next; is the league doing enough to punish foul play as it happens on the field?

It’s over to the AFL next with Roar AFL expert Adrian Polykandrites, where we look at the AFL’s coaching carousel. Where will John Longmire sign? Can Brad Scott get a gig next season?

Then, it’s over to rugby where Brett McKay joins us to look at who the Wallabies should be trialling in the Rugby Championship ahead of the World Cup.

Finally, it’s football getting a run with Matthew Galea. Will an independent A-League actually work?

Catch the episode in the player above and head to our Game of Codes hub to listen to Thursday’s edition. Be sure to subscribe and review on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts or wherever else you’re listening.
