Manchester United will touch down on Australian soil for the first time in six years as they get set to do battle with the Perth Glory. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming the match live online, or watching it on TV in Australia.
The match is scheduled to begin at 9pm (AEST) on Saturday, July 13, with it to be held at Optus Stadium in Perth.
The Glory are coming off a great A-League season, however, failed to win the competition as they lost the grand final at the same venue to Sydney FC.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, are coming off a solid season, but one where they missed qualification for the Champions League back in Europe. They have brought most of their first team squad down under.
The exclusive rights to this match in Australia have been sold to Channel 7, who will broadcast around Australia.
Their coverage will be available through secondary channel 7Two, who will broadcast the contest from 8:30pm (AEST), allowing for a half-hour build-up to the game.
To watch 7Two, you’ll need to tune in through Channel 72, or on a Foxtel service, Channel 137.
To live stream the action online, you’ll need to tune in through the digital services provided by Channel 7, as they are the official broadcaster of the match.
Their dedicated streaming service is called 7Plus, and is available for free so long as you sign up with a valid email address.
The coverage provided as a stream on the application will be exactly the same as what you would see on TV.
Here at The Roar, we will provide a live blog and scores of the match so that you can stay across all the action from start to finish.
