The Wallaroos will commence their 2019 calendar when they take on Japan in the first of two Tests on home soil. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.

Kick-off in the Australian women’s first Test against Japan is scheduled for 3pm (AEST) on Saturday, July 13, with the match set to be held at the Newcastle No. 2 Sportsground in Newcastle.

The Wallaroos will have some big matches against the New Zealand Black Ferns at the back of their mind as they take on Japan, in what should be a good test for the Australians.

The second and final match of the series will be played next Friday at North Sydney Oval, while the Wallaroos will then prepare for their big matches against New Zealand.

How to watch the match on TV

The match will be broadcast exclusively in Australia on Fox Sports 505. Their coverage will begin in Newcastle at 2:45pm (AEST), 15 minutes before the scheduled kick-off time.

To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.

Unfortunately, there is no free to air alternative to watch the game like there is for Wallabies Test matches.

How to live stream the match online

If you’d like to tune into the Wallaroos first Test of 2019 online, then you’ll need to do so through the Foxtel coverage.

The best way to do this is through Kayo Sports. This will set you back $25 per month, however, allows you to stream all of Foxtel’s sports channels, as well as other selected events from Australia and around the world which ordinarily wouldn’t be available on TV.

The match will also be available on either Foxtel Now or the Foxtel App.
